Began during lockdown v1 2020/21 Ovid’s 15 tales are mapped out, and licence is taken to add four more tales for our time. Global catastrophe of today had a familiar echo in Ovid’s timeless trauma tales of wrathful gods and mythical spirits of love and reparation.  From the heat of the scorched earth, to the turn of nature in silencing cities, the folly of authority, and finally the work of apothecaries, we quickly saw how Metamorphoses carried epic tales were telling about the challenges facing humanity. In the sound signatures we found the sounds of fear, the beating drums for our heroes, and requiems for the memory of those who died during the pandemic, the clash of civilizations and global catastrophe.
